Review of Fahita Pizza

I bought this and I have to say this is the worst purchase I have ever made... I bought the pizza without reading the reviews which was a BIG mistake. I took my first bite into the pizza and that was also a BIG mistake.. Actually, no, I first ripped off a piece of chicken and inserted it onto my tongue and the taste was fantastic, I was overwhelmed with my purchase but then I bit into it and the taste of utter ballsack dominated every taste bud on my tongue. Reading the reviews was BIG mistake... 3/10, 3 for the chicken. DO NOT BUY THIS PIZZA!!!

Good shop but overlong checkout queues are all too frequent at Doncaster

Sadly I shall now have to use Tesco or Asda due to having had to wait in queues of up to five people at the checkouts . This happens at any time on any day even when the store is not busy. It's been like this for at least two years . A complaint often results in more checkouts being opened but the staff should pre- empt the annoyance simply by watching the customers' faces when searching for a checkout without overlong queues.

In our local Prestwick we inquired about the new curry sauce called
Vini and Bal's, according to dragon's den the sauce is available in 300

Sainsburys stores nationwide but our customer service has no knowledge
of it. Could you please email us since we wrote this review Sainsburys Prestwick now have the curry sauce in stock thanks again Sainsburys

Bad food, bad service.

We went to the restaurant in Sainsburys in London rd, Stoke for a snack after shopping at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. Nobody was on the till, no t-bags in the pots, no milk in the jugs and the staff member was not helpful. I had to go into the kitchen area to ask for milk! I ordered an omelette which was only just warm and the kids had a toasted sandwich which looked bland. I feel ill from the omelette which clearly had been reheated. The cutlery was dirty and tables not clean. All together a terrible experience.

Online grocery shopping delivery get worse

I have been grocery shopping online with Sainsbury`s for 10 years now, so I am not a newbie to the site .I like Sainsbury`s own brands as well as the brand names but this review is not about the quality of their own brand groceries but the online operations which very important includes the delivery and the drivers.
Now I realise that the Christmas period for all of the supermarkets is a very busy time and they are put under a lot of pressure to ensure all the customers who shop either in store or online have a pleasant experience, sometimes it can go wrong and my review is about my own experience December 2013.
I decided to book my Christmas delivery early this year December 2013 so I could get my delivery for 19/12/2013, I booked my slot 02/ December and started my Christmas grocery shop. Then on the evening of the 10 / December I was amending my grocery shop I checked out but I was left hanging and then my shopping disappeared !! my shopping that amounted to £135 + had disappeared from the trolley.
I had to start again then on the 18 /December the day before my grocery delivery after amending my shopping there was a glitch of which I was left not knowing if I would get my Christmas grocery shopping delivered. Many strange things was happening but as far I knew my shopping was going to be delivered on the 19 / December as planned..so I thought
On the 19 / December when my groceries should have arrived I was left speaking to Sainsbury`s customer care asking where was the driver only to be informed I would not be getting my groceries delivered because I did not check-out...Why would I not check-out ? I know if I don,t I am not going to get my groceries for Christ sake! , I have been doing this online shop for 10 years to know I have to check out..
I not only did not get my Christmas groceries delivered I lost 1,000 nectar points worth £5 and a £10 goodwill evoucher and Sainsbury`s have not responded since 19 / December 2013....
I would also like to know why my log in information has become invalid since the Christmas grocery bungle mess. I have not had a single response from Sainsbury`s, someone who is responsible obviously does not care a sausage ( pardon the pun )

very disappointing!

Ordered a king mattress online. They delivered a double. The driver just left it and said nothing he can do, contact Sainsbury's. Called a very loud call centre and told I'd be contacted within 24 hours. Never contacted. After a lot of calls back and forth, I was told mattress is "made to order" and it would not be available another 2 weeks. Delivery company very rude! Cancelled order and will not order from Sainsbury online again.

Very rude delivery driver.........no customer focus

Got home earlier this week to find Sainsburys delivery van blocking my drive. There was no need to do this as the house nextdoor where delivery was being made had a empty driveway and plenty of space. I asked the driver politely to move his van from my drive. The driver refused, I had a sick child in the car and even when I told him this he said "I had to be patient and wait!, I threatened to report him if he did not move and he said "report me then", so I did. After 5 days I had had no response from customer services so I called them again. They could find no trace of my complaint so I had to go through the whole thing again!!!. The same day I received a call from the store where the delivery originated from (Calcot), an apology for the apalling behaviour of their driver and an assurance that the driver would be dealt with!!

Downhill! Extremely poor service.

After buying ready washed salad and finding a LIVE caterpillar in the salad I immediately emailed sainsburys to notify them. I took them several days before I got a reply asking for an account number. The only account I have with them is a nectar card, I sent this and then they told me this is not what they wanted. They wanted an order number. Two weeks this was after my initial contact.

As they were no help I took the salad into the store to deal with it. The staff were mortified that there was a big and didn't want to know. They told me to ring the number on the back.

So I finally rang in, told them I was not happy with the customer service, the delays and the fact that their ready washed and ready to eat salad is coming with bugs!!! She told me out of a "good will gesture" they would put £2 pounds onto my card. No apology, no recognition of the absolute hassle or the fact their food is dirty and not washed properly. She said if I wanted to I could bring it in for investigation but they usually don't do anything about salad.

Useless and annoyed!

ROT SETS IN AT SAINSBURY'S

I started shopping at Sainsbury's 10 years ago good food helpful staff.
I have noticed that over the past 12 months that the store has gone into serious decline...
Vegetables left to rot on the shelf.
Rude unhelpful staff, intrestingly only the new members........
Department Managers full of their own self importance.
And today the the most ignorant deputy manager i have ever met, could not even be bothered to find me the info i needed, turns out what he told me was wrong anyway!
Even the customer service centre said that he should know the basics!
.....Goodbye Sainsbury's

Worst supermarket by a mile!!! I won't be wasting any money or time there again.

Sainsbury are the worst supermarket around - the staff are rude, ignorant and have no person skills at all. The food is not as good quality as they make out either as well as overpriced and don't get me started on the arrogant people they have working at the petrol stations - they must have been off sick when they had customer service training.

Avoid Sainsbury like the plague - [external reference] and all the others are 100 times better.

Grocery on line service needs to be improved!

I love Sainsburys groceries and have started ordering on line. BUT every week there are substitutes and the driver takes them back. I then receive an email EVERY week saying "you have been refunded but we can not tell you how much". I then have to check at the end of the month on my credit card and see what was refunded. what a laugh! Then to top it the amount is sometimes wrong, which then means 15 - 20 mins talking to customer services (who have to contact the relevant store to find out what is going on). Sainsburys - don't you realise customers have better things to do with their time!

Just tried Sainsbury own brand sausages, v.bad

I thought I would give Sainsbury "taste the difference" own brand sausages a try, it was a bad experience!

I try to eat healthily which is why when purchasing sausages I go for the quality end of the range. These pork taste the difference (purchased 1 Feb 2014) were loaded with fat, and I mean loaded!

I put them in the oven to roast and about 30% by volume came out as fat in the bottom of the dish, I have never seen so much ooze out. and of course there will still have been fat inside so my guess is these sausages were at least 50% fat.

Come on Sainsbury, pull your act together. If you are going to brand as "taste the difference" gives us some decent quality and not these cardiac arresters.

always on time and such a friendly service

Have switched from tesco to sainburys shopping delivery service due to moving home. Must say what a pleasant experience! Your delivery staff are so polite and courteous. Always turn up exactly as stated and as I am 8 months pregnant, the gentleman today was extremely helpful. Much better than any other delivery service I had received. Wish I had taken the mans name as he is a credit to his company and would be nice for him to see the feedback. Delivery was today at 10ish in the churchward area of swindon if that helps! :)

Soggy cakes acceptable to sell at Sainsbury's [this is Sainsbury's opinion]

I love fresh fresh cream cakes if you see what I mean. Not fresh cream cakes that are not fresh. Sainsbury's have a brilliant price of 3 for 2 on their bakery made fresh cream cakes. This makes them cheaper than most other Supermarkets and also some private bakeries. When they are nice and fresh they are excellent, when they are soggy they are horrible. My fresh cream choux buns and fresh cream flakey pastry raspberry turnovers were so soggy they were uneatable. I took this up with the local Manager and he said if ever I wanted fresh fresh cream cakes [if you see what I mean again] I should phone and arrange to have some ready for me. If I just arrive and buy them, there is a good chance they will be yesterdays and therefore soggy. He didn't put it like that, but that's what it boiled down to. It isn't anybodies fault - choux pastry and flakey pastry does not keep fresh and/or crisp beyond a few hours, particularly with wet fresh cream in it. But they should work round this fact, and not put them on sale for more than one day. When it happened again, I contacted their Head Office, and was made to feel as if I was lower than low 'as no-one else had complained'. They said they took fridge temperatures and other tests to make sure the cakes were saleable. I agree the fresh cream won't have gone off after one day, and no-one will be harmed by eating them, BUT THEY TASTE DISGUSTING WHEN THEY ARE SOGGY. Doesn't Sainsbury's care? Apparently not., I have always considered them a top notch Supermarket - have never ever had cause for complaint about anything else. Perhaps someone else reading this will join in with their own comments. I can't be the only person who has bought Sainsbury's soggy cakes!?!

Gift voucher but can't use online!!

How stupid is this? Is Sainsburys.co.uk not the same as a Sainsbury store? Can't even click and collect and pay on collecting items.

Not very impressed Sainsbury. You used to be No. 1 but then I am talking about 35 years ago.

How sad!

SALE OVER FOR SOME ITEMS

I bought 2 electrical items marked 50% off but only one got the reduction at the till. A Captain took over and transferred our purchases to the Customer Service till which minimised inconveniencing customers behind me. However, the girl at Customer Service checked and said that the Morphy Richards Fryer Professional 3L 45082 had come off sale today and "you'll have to pay full price". I replied that I don't have to pay that as I'd rather go without.as I felt deceived. No apology was offered and she didn't want to discuss the fact that it was surrounded by 50% off stickers but not actually on the box and walked off. I don't think they are obliged to sell it at any price but they could invest the extra money on Customer Service training.

Self-service Tills

To be quite honest Sainsburys like many major stores have very little interest in customers only profit and shareholders. I shop regularly at their shop in Crayford and myself amongst others see very little advantage in using the self-service tills especially when your paying the same price for doing somebody else's job and accepting the hassle and stress involved. So with the basket only till rarely opened, people like myself have very little option but to queue up at a normal till, probably behind those will full trollies and you have only a few bits in a basket.
I'm not blaming the staff they are very helpful, and even the management only do what their told to do although I feel they could still open the basket only till without being asked. I blame those at head office whom as I said earlier have very little interest in the customers and the stress it can cause, only profit. They may say that they inspect stores regular after pre-warning the store manager whom in turn pulls out all the stops and calls in extra staff to open up all the tills including the basket only till.
So what happens next, the customer goes round and scan goods as they load the trolley and at the of their shop put the scanner in a till and pay the bill. Great for store as they are able to make more profit by cutting down on overheads and staff.
What has happened to the days when shopping was a pleasure not a stressful chore. Still Sainsburys aren't interested in customers only profit.

Just appalling!

I visited a different store yesterday and spent over £50 and wanted to use part of my 54,000 nectar points against my bill. First I was told I had no points on my card. Then their customer services told me nothing could be done in-store despite their website saying otherwise. Countless hours spent speaking to their Indian call centre who were unable to resolve the issue and I was redirected back to the Hendon store manager who passed me over to the customer service manager who was unwilling to offer a solution other than to drive all the way back to the store which is miles away. Then I was told to call nectar whose customer service which is as bad as Sainsbury's. Why didn't Sainsbury's tell me to resolve the issue via Nectar in the first place? Terrible terrible.

How reliable are the product reviews on Sainsbury's website?

I bought a Kenwood JKP210 kettle from Sainsbury's in early 2012. First the lid failed in May 2012 and Kenwood agreed to replace it. Now it has started leaking onto the charging base and I thought I would check Sainsbury's website to see what other customers' experience of this model of kettle had been. It scores 4.8 stars out of 5 from 58 reviews; hardly any one else seems to have had a problem.

However, looking at the reviews of this model on John Lewis' website, although it scores well on earlier reviews, the most recent 11 reviews extending back over the last 6 months all complain about broken lids and leaks onto the charging base.

Maybe this uneven distribution of reviewers is due to the majority of the faulty kettles having been delivered to John Lewis stores, or maybe John Lewis customers are more likely to complain. But it does seem strange that Sainsbury's customers appear to be giving 5 stars to a product to which most recent John Lewis reviewers give 1 star.

Best before dates not watched, too much not delivered, offers not honoured

The good:
Small time slots for delivery, always been on time.
Lots of organic Food.
Nice ready meals.
Good selection.

The bad:
Where to begin, well, getting meat at 9pm with a use-by date of that same day.

Organic food is often horribly expensive.
The basics range keep shrinking, items I like disappear.

The cost of delivery is too high, if Iceland can deliver for free on a £35 shop then why do Sainsburys charge up to £6

Food that is already moldy.
Food that goes moldy before the best before date.
Cheese that went moldy in it's pack before opened and well before the BB date.

Items out of stock and not delivered on 100% of deliveries, Come on Sainsburys, stock control is not rocket science.

Special offers often out of stock and not delivered - I feel cheated by this, it's like bait and switch, except it's bait and not in stock.

Food delivered defrosted - ice creams ruined bah.

Stupid vouchers with my receipt for £15 off the first shop which of course I can't use... Every time - stapled to my receipt - why? why would you staple a voucher for the 1st internet shop to the 10th internet shop it's so f**king obvious that that voucher can't be used.

Vouchers that have to be used so quickly that you'll never use them.

Stupid little 'you would have saved 7p at the other supermarket' brand voucher that reminds you that they are more expensive, but it's really not worth bothering with for 7p.

HORRIFICALLY EXPENSIVE, seriously, like £3-£4 for a 1-2 portion cooked veg side - are you nuts Sainsburys?

I give up buying meals from Sainsburys, and of course the fruit and veg are horribly over-priced, I wish there was a market round here but there isn't. I've seen good fruit, very tasty, price a third of Sainsburys prices at market stalls in London.
